Welcome to Ochoa's Mexican Restaurant

Ochoa's Mexican Restaurant serves authentic Tex-Mex as well as some American dishes from enchiladas, tamales, Fajitas to rib-eye steaks and chicken fried steaks. Ochoa's has been owned and operated by the Ochoa family since we first started out as a small café on Cedar Creek Lake back in 1969, able to seat about 20 people. However, we quickly grew into one of the biggest family-owned businesses in the East Texas area. One location turned into 2 and 2 turned into 3, passed down from father to sons. We now have 2 locations that are owned by 2 different sons of the man who established it, Jose Ochoa, Sr.

We have a very family-oriented atmosphere and our wait staff has been voted the friendliest wait staff in the area by the readers of the Athens Daily Review. We pride ourselves not only on the food we serve, but on our appreciation for our customers. Our staff goes above and beyond to make each customer feel like family and some of our customers we know by name. Customer satisfaction is our number one priority.

We prepare all of our food and hot sauce fresh, every day. Ochoa's has also been voted for having the best hot sauce by the readers of the Athens Daily Review.
